My lessons with Jimi were a fundamental grounding for my later professional work.

Over 4 years at his studio he covered a huge range of musical concepts – from theory & reading, rhythm guitar to accompany other players, improvisation, advanced techniques and greatly expanding my listening, harmonic & musical knowledge in the process.

I benefited so much from his care & attention, his phenomenal musicianship, ability to explain even complex concepts in a musical and relatable way, his wide range of influences and above all his desire to put it all ‘in context’, with our frequent jams remaining a real highlight of my studying experience.
